I. Specific

  • Handles Out of Town Properties.
  • The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) will partner with the HR Officers and General Managers of the Properties under HII to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of HR processes, policies, and services.
  • Duties will include coaching and mentoring the HR Officers and anticipating needs in the areas of employee relations, hiring, onboarding, communication, training, and development.
  • Conducts HRBP 1:1s with supervisors and managers, acting as a trusted partner, confidant, and coach.
  • Responds to employee relations issues for supervisors and managers.
  • Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for existing and open positions, aligning job descriptions.
  • Full cycle recruiting as needed including job posting, screening, interview coordination, background checks, and onboarding, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and deliver human resource programs including, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety.
  • Facilitates and delivers compliance training as needed.
  • Help facilitate employee engagement and team-building activities.
  • Referring complex and sensitive matters to the appropriate department.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Corporate Functions.
  • Helps in the development of employee engagement and team-building activities.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors,
  • Maintains compliance with government agencies and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, payroll, talent management, and employment law.
  • Helps to compose and distribute written communication to employees on a variety of topics: benefits, policy updates, memorandums, COVID protocols, etc.
  • Performance Management:
  • Monitor Corporate Heads of the performance evaluation schedule of new hires and the annual performance review (APR)
  • Review performance evaluations submitted and ensure compliance with specified guidelines.
  • Prepare APR summary report and recommendations for salary increases for Corporate Office employees.
  • Guide and support Department Heads in accomplishing the Performance Improvement Plan or Performance Development Plan
  • Consolidate all APR reports and review training needs based on summary.
  • Employee Training and Development
  • Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate training activities across properties including mandatory training such as basic life support, first aid training, etc.
  • Conduct new employee orientations to new employees, prepare onboarding plans, and ensure new hires are on-boarded properly
  • Maintain training monitoring record of training conducted across various properties.
  • Oversee the on-the-job training program and partnership programs of the Company, set guidelines, and review Memorandum of Agreement with partner institutions.
  • Conduct various training modules for employees across all levels.

II. Administrative And Other Functions

  • Prepare HR-related reports and provide analysis.
  • Ensure compliance of the Company to labor law requirements including permits and licenses
  • Manage employee communication and feedback through such s company meetings, suggestion programs, employee satisfaction surveys, newsletters, employee focus groups, one-on-one meetings, etc.
  • Conduct organizational planning that evaluates company structure, job design, and manpower forecasting throughout the company and makes recommendations to Management.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of direct reports through informal and formal feedback-giving sessions.
  • Act as a contact person regarding questions or concerns in the workplace; address concerns raised within the set period.
  • Sign Certificates of Employment as requested by employees.
  • Attend and participate in all required meetings, events, or training.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Director
