We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Tester with 4 years of experience in testing the ETL’s, BI Reports, Cubes and Dashboard. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of data and a very strong background in creating complex SQL queries in SQL Server and Oracle databases. Candidate must be able to work in EST time zone.

• Coordinate QA tasks and priorities for each project including identifying QA/testing environment needs.
• Possess a deep knowledge of software quality assurance and testing methodology.
• Experience with reviewing, understanding, and translating Agile User Stories to develop test artifacts like test plans, test cases, and data mining.
• Design test cases based on business rules and data mapping documents.
• Create complex SQL queries for data validation (Requires strong background in SQL scripting).
• Execute the required ETL, Cube, Dashboard and Reports validation test cases.
• Perform aggregate and comparative data analysis to ensure data flows and integrations are valid.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and writing skills, including the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels with technical resources as well as business resources.
• Ensure that defects/change in requirements identified during testing are verified & tracked to closure before moving the application to production.
• Execute different types of testing including but not limited to, Functional, System Integration, Regression and Performance testing.
  
  

Basic Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; with 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Candidate must be able to work in EST time zone.
• Proven 3-4 years testing experience in ETL/ DWH, Cubes and Reports is a must.
• Strong 3+ years of experience and background in QA processes: development and implementation of documented process, test case design, functional, integration, system and regression testing, entrance and exit criteria, metrics, reporting and status.
• Experience with tools such as MS BI Suite (SSIS, SSAS & SSRS) is a must.
• Strong DB skills (MS SQL Server, ORACLE) are a must.
• Experience writing and documenting test cases in DevOps or other agile tools.
• Proven ability to deliver quality results in a busy and dynamic business focused environment.
• Must be detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.
• The ability to think creatively and offer innovative ideas and solutions for implementing new processes and introducing automation into daily tasks is expected.
