Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions that support business and risk management initiatives.
Analyse complex datasets from multiple sources to generate actionable insights.
Build dashboards, reports, and visualisation tools that empower business stakeholders.
Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
Develop automation and self-service analytics capabilities to improve efficiency.
Support data governance, quality assurance, metadata management, and data lineage initiatives.
Create monitoring and reporting tools to assess and maintain data quality standards.
Work closely with technology teams to ensure secure data access and governance controls.
Explore and implement emerging technologies and open-source tools to enhance analytics capabilities.
Leverage cloud technologies and modern data platforms to drive innovation.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, IT, or a related quantitative discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or data engineering.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience using SQL and Python.
Experience with business intelligence and data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, SQL databases, and working with structured and unstructured data.
Exposure to AWS services and cloud-based data solutions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in banking, financial services, or insurance sectors is advantageous.
Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and related frameworks is preferred.
Familiarity with Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is beneficial.
