Develop and enhance backend services for new regions, ensuring functionality aligns with frontend

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Backend Development for Platform Expansion:
  • Customize backend logic as needed for region-specific requirements, collaborating with other team

members.

  • API Development and Integration:
  • Build and maintain APIs to support frontend functionality, ensuring efficient and secure data exchange.
  • Document API endpoints and support integration with frontend components.
  • PostgreSQL Database Management and Optimization:
  • Support data migration from an Excel-based system to a PostgreSQL database-driven platform, managing

queries and data consistency.

  • Optimize SQL queries and perform indexing to enhance database performance.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable .Net code.
  • Check work for defects prior to releasing to QA.
  • Submit pull requests, handle code merges, and facilitate software releases.
  • Troubleshoot and own defects identified by the QA team and customers.
  • Nurture a culture of team excellence with openness, transparency, close collaboration, and a willingness to learn.
  • Proactively provides updates to the customer on the progress of the initiative.
  • Maintains and updates daily monitoring of service deliverables.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and standards.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on .NET and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and documentation.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL for efficient data fetching and query management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Azure Functions or similar cloud functions for serverless computing.
  • Knowledge of Coremedia CMS or equivalent content management systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize backend services.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
