About The Role

We are looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team! This role focuses on managing financial records, processing transactions, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in ensuring financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial records, invoices, and payment transactions.
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Support in processing accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform data entry and assist with reconciliations of bank statements
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Organize and maintain accounting files and documents
• Help identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
  
  

• Currently a 4th-year student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Enrolled in an internship or practicum course as part of academic requirements
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
