Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between the point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements and internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing, and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus on continuous improvement of material movement through various production processes and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive initiatives to achieve Freight % of Sales and TEBIT targets for appointed Subvertical, ensuring cost optimization and savings delivery.
• Oversee the Setup of carrier determination and shipment window setting, implementing process improvements and visibility tools.
• Provide operational and strategic support for DC Dobřany, ensuring smooth logistics execution and compliance.
• Lead Global Parcel Optimization projects to reduce costs and improve delivery performance across regions.
• Implement Transit Time visibility solutions, leveraging Control Tower processes and digital dashboards for real-time monitoring.
• Participate in a logistics project on behalf of the Industrial BU to drive logistics KPI improvement.
• Partner with the Global Logistics Team (GLOG) to support Freight and Distribution Key Performance Indicators
  
  

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree equivalent (Logistics)
• Experience in international logistics roles
• Experience with data analysis and reporting, using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset
• High attention to detail
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and executing data-related projects
  
  

What Your Background Should Look Like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
