As a full-time Marketing Copywriter, you will be tasked with producing creative promotional content for a variety of games across the Behaviour Interactive portfolio. Formats may include social copy, in-game news, blog posts, emails, landing pages, video scripts, and more. As a member of the Marketing Creative team under the supervision of the Sr. Copywriting Team Lead, you will work closely with stakeholders to produce clear, compelling copy that tells a story while attracting and converting gamers based on a project’s needs. This is a high-volume position for a self-starter who understands and is passionate about horror and gaming.

We are looking for someone who is skilled at adapting the tone of their writing to fit with any brand. They seek to understand audience motivations to deliver the right message. They’re curious, detail oriented, able to collaborate across multiple teams, and comfortable receiving and applying feedback in a timely fashion.

In this role you will :

  • Produce high-impact copy that clearly communicates messages and supports marketing strategies to drive engagement.
  • Collaborate with brand and community managers, PR managers, video editors, and other teams as well as the Lead Content Writer to ensure highly creative and compelling copy that targets multiple audiences and drives engagement.
  • Continually strive to deepen your understanding of Behaviour’s brands, and what makes them and their audiences unique.
  • Edit, fact-check, and proofread copy written by others.

What were looking for :

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume marketing department, preferably in the video game or entertainment sector.
  • Possesses a mastery of spoken and written English. Bonus if fluent in spoken and written French.
  • Natural storyteller and experienced editor.
  • A strong foundation in the gaming industry, horror genre, pop culture, and current trends is required, while familiarity with Behaviour IPs is a plus.
  • Strong, clear communicator able to build healthy trust-based relationships with teams in development and marketing.
