I. JOB OVERVIEW

Raw Material and Packaging Material QA Inspector is responsible to lead and support Raw

Material and Packaging samplers and inspectors in checking the quality of incoming raw

materials both macro and micro ingredients including packaging materials prior acceptance

and during unloading.

materials prior acceptance and during unloading.

Ii. Duties And Responsibilities

  • Know all the responsibilities of a Raw Material and Packaging Material Inspector.
  • Report nonconforming Raw and Packaging Materials to Quality Assurance Head.
  • Monitor and record all received raw materials in the RM data base.
  • Coordinate with warehouse team schedule of incoming raw material deliveries.
  • Coordinate with procurement team on advance sampling schedule.
  • Responsible for the monitoring of received raw materials and packaging in conformance with quality standards including submission of monthly and weekly

Raw Material Acceptance Report

  • Prepare raw material and packaging samples for other departments if requested.
  • Report monitoring of Raw Material Warehouse whereabouts.
  • Prepare samples intended for retention and complete retention record based on
  • Retention Sample Management Procedure.

In the absence or needs back-up of the site RM QA Inspector, he/she will:

  • Collect samples of raw materials as communicated by warehouse personnel following the specified sampling plan and request for analysis or evaluation
  • Collect raw material samples and submit for laboratory analysis based on the Raw
  • Material Acceptance Procedure.
  • Forward the accomplished disposition slip of the material to warehouse personnel.
  • Record material acceptance for traceability.
  • Prepare samples intended for retention and complete retention record based on
  • Retention Sample Management Procedure.
  • Participate and engage in safety, quality, compliance, performance excellence and other ADM mandatory training and activities.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Quality Assurance Head.

III. QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • A graduate of any vocational course, college level or bachelor degree an advantage.
  • Experienced in agricultural or animal industry is an advantage but not required.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft application (excel, word, powerpoint)
  • Knows how to drive a motorcycle is an advantage but not required.
  • Can work with minimum supervision.
  • Flexible and can do multi-tasking job.
  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule.
  • With good moral character.

IV. JOB REQUIREMENT

The job requires to work on a shifting schedule, holidays and weekend work if necessary
