Your Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Biomonitoring equipment at the customer site. You act as the interface between customers and internal departments to develop business opportunities by promoting service activities, products, and solutions.

You will install, repair, and maintain an extensive variety of products and equipment. You will identify, analyze, and repair product failures. You will recommend which products or services would best fit customer’s needs and provide trainings to customers. You will perform service activities that align with all applied regulations (EHS) and advise customers on this topic. You will follow current company procedures and SOPs/guidelines. You will update timely the CRM (Service Max) and report regularly to the Management. You will order and replace parts as needed. You will handle own spare parts in stock & car to enhance first time fix rate without impacting the non-moving parts list. Besides that, you will also be involved with other duties aligning with the company strategy.

Who You Are

  • You are preferably located in the central part of Italy (Tuscany)
  • A completed vocational training or bachelor’s degree in Technical Professions with preferred practical experience as Field Service Engineer
  • Good level of English and Italian to communicate in a professional manner
  • Good knowledge in digital literacy (Word/Excel/CRM) & experienced in project management
  • Willingness to travel, at least 85% of the time. Will be mostly in Italy but could be from time to time in other countries in Western Europe. A valid Italian driving license is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and develop personal initiatives with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
