Job Overview

We are actively looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team in the role of Store Clerk. This position is ideal for someone who not only has a strong work ethic but also embodies the core values and mission of our company.

The successful candidate will oversee supply chain procedures and manage stock levels, which includes conducting audits and maintaining accurate records.

Key Performance Areas

  • Process Pastel stock for issuance.
  • Process stock for production.
  • Process stock for operations (OPS).
  • Process bills of materials (BOMs) for device builds.
  • Identify consumable requirements.
  • Assist the team with ad hoc tasks.
  • Ensure all relevant procedures are followed.
  • Manage all aspects of stock handling, including ordering, receiving, matching documentation, packing, loading, offloading, maintaining, picking, issuing, and capturing.
  • Accurately and efficiently capture and maintain the inventory management system.
  • Conduct cycle counting regularly.

Working Relationships

  • Liaise with internal departments: Procurement, Production, Inception, Dispatch, OPS, Finance, & International
  • Assist with Internal and External Audits

Reporting

  • Daily “Out of Stocks” on Dashboard
  • Monthly Stocktakes
  • Feedback on production requirements or issues

Legislation And Company Procedures

  • Ensure adherence to ISO & Company policies & procedures
  • Review standard processes and procedures and identify areas for improvement
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
  • Ensure housekeeping is adhered

Minimum Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma or relevant certificate supply chain will be an advantage.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Pastel Evolution
  • Computer Literate Strong people skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures
