Nursing Background/Degree: A valid nursing degree and background are essential. Australian nursing registration is not required for this role.
Telehealth/Call Experience (Preferred): While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in inbound and outbound calls or telehealth nursing will be highly regarded.
Arabic Fluency (Non-Negotiable): This is a critical requirement. You must be fluent in Arabic, as 50-60% of our clientele speaks Arabic. This requirement may only be reassessed in rare instances if no qualified Arabic-speaking candidates are available.
No Scheduling Experience Needed: Previous experience in scheduling is not a requirement for this role.
What will you do?
Role
As a Virtual Nurse, your primary role will be to conduct remote health assessments and information gathering for a diverse client base. Your daily tasks will involve managing an average of 14-15 inbound and outbound calls. During these calls, you will focus on collecting crucial client information, including:
Medical history
Updates on diagnoses
Assessment of functional status
Evaluation of client support systems
You will be responsible for meticulously documenting all gathered information, as these notes will serve as the primary source for review by other nursing staff. Your coordination efforts will be limited to communicating with the rostering team regarding your schedule or other operational needs; direct liaison with other nurses for patient care is not required.
