This role will closely manage the companys financial health, prepare and analyze financial statements, payroll, budgets, and more. Oversee all the firms accounting functions and supervise an off shore accounting team who provide accounting services to our clients. This will include but is not limited to implementation and monitoring of accounting policies and procedures, coaching and mentoring, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities Include
Manage all accounting operations including:
A/R and Client Billing
A/P
General Ledger
Payroll
Weekly Cashflow Company budgeting and forecasting
Manage our offshore internal accounting team to ensure all internal accounting tasks are completed with accuracy and timely.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Oversee all the firms accounting functions and supervise offshore team members who provide accounting services to our clients.
Prepare and distribute timely financials, and miscellaneous other reporting requirements
Develop and maintain an annual and multi-year budget; conform this and all other forecasting models to ongoing strategic initiatives
Ensure quality control over transaction and reporting data
Manage local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Develop and document accounting policies, SOPs, and best practices
Oversee Internal Controls
Communication with tax agencies on clients behalf including agency calls
Provide support to the compliance department with various tasks as needed.
Ad-hoc Reporting as necessary
Project Supervision
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
Set clear project goals and performance metrics.
Identify project dependencies, milestones, and potential risks.
Communication (1.) internal with staff 2.) external with clients 3.) upward to Executive Team)
Qualifications
5-7 years+ relevant work experience
Candidates with Controllership experience are encouraged to apply
BA Degree
Proven leadership experience
Strong team player who can work across multiple functions
Able to work under deadline pressures
Advanced knowledge of accounting software and financial analysis
Organized and detail oriented, adaptable to change
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point
Ability to analyze, solution-oriented; problem-solver.
Great organization and time management skills
High level attention to detail
