Job Purpose
The Travel Systems Onboarding Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, and onboarding of clients onto travel management and booking platforms (e.g., Cytric). This role serves as the primary bridge between clients, internal operations, and technology teams to ensure a seamless, compliant, and efficient transition into the system. The consultant ensures clients are fully enabled to use the platform effectively while aligning configurations with business policies, workflows, and service expectations.

What will be your key responsibilities?
- Client Onboarding & Implementation
- Lead end-to-end onboarding of new clients onto travel systems, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Configure travel platforms to align with client travel policies, approval workflows, user roles, and reporting needs.
- Conduct data validation and ensure accurate setup of traveler profiles, cost centers, and access permissions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Operations, IT, Finance, Account Management) to ensure readiness and smooth handover.
- Consultative Support
- Act as the primary point of contact during onboarding, providing guidance and best-practice recommendations.
- Translate client business needs into system configurations and operational workflows.
- Identify risks, gaps, or dependencies early and proactively manage resolutions.
- Training & Enablement
- Deliver system training sessions (virtual or in-person) to client administrators and end-users.
- Develop and share onboarding documentation, user guides, and quick reference materials.
- Ensure clients are confident and self-sufficient in using the platform post go-live.
- Testing, Go-Live & Hypercare
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and pre-go-live validation activities.
- Manage go-live execution and provide post-implementation hypercare support.
- Track and resolve post-launch issues in collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
- Continuous Improvement & Governance
- Capture client feedback to improve onboarding processes and documentation.
- Maintain accurate onboarding records, timelines, and status reporting.
- Support process enhancements and standardization across onboarding activities.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
What are we looking for?
Required
- Experience in travel systems onboarding, implementation, or travel technology operations.
- Familiarity with online booking tools and travel platforms (Cytric experience strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of corporate travel policies, workflows, and approval structures.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple onboarding projects concurrently.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Preferred
- Experience working with GDS systems (Amadeus or similar).
- Background in corporate travel management, TMCs, or travel BPO environments.
- Experience delivering system training or client enablement sessions.
- Basic project management experience.
