The Impact You Will Have In This Role
Being a member of the Cyber Security Operations, as a Threat Management Senior Associate, you will play a key role in strengthening DTCC’s cyber resilience by coordinating vendor-delivered security services and supporting critical cyber security programs. You will help ensure that security initiatives are executed effectively, aligned to enterprise priorities, and meet regulatory and operational expectations.
This role sits within the Cyber Operations Enablement function, focused on driving consistency, transparency, and measurable outcomes across cyber security programs and vendor engagements.
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate multiple cyber security vendor engagements, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality expectations
- Support the execution of Cyber Security Operations programs, including planning, tracking, and delivery of key activities
- Partner with internal cyber teams and stakeholders to align vendor services with business and technical requirements
- Collect, review, and maintain deliverables and artifacts from vendor assessments and security activities
- Develop and deliver reporting, including metrics, dashboards, and executive summaries
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to communicate progress, risks, and outcomes
- Track program performance, risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when appropriate
- Support audit and regulatory requests by providing documentation and evidence
- Contribute to process improvements, standardization, and adoption of best practices across vendor and program management
- Drive transparency and accountability through clear communication and consistent reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in cyber security operations, program management, or vendor management
- Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear reports and executive-level updates
- Ability to translate technical information into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Working knowledge of cyber security concepts such as vulnerability management, penetration testing, or security operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with third-party vendors or managed security service providers
- Familiarity with cyber security testing programs (e.g., penetration testing, red team, or external validation)
- Knowledge of regulatory, audit, or control frameworks
- Project or program management certifications (e.g., PMP) or cyber security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM)
- Experience in financial services or a highly regulated environment
