Role Summary

As a Tax Compliance Specialist III (Process Expert), you will play a key role in strengthening data management, workflow governance, reporting, and continuous improvement across CTS.

You will help teams make better decisions through meaningful insights, streamlined processes, and reliable performance reporting. Working closely with business, operational, and transformation stakeholders, you will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, support the adoption of future tooling, and help create scalable ways of working that enable sustainable growth and operational excellence.

About The Team

Client Tax Services (CTS) is a highly specialized function responsible for supporting ING’s global client tax obligations, including tax form validation, FATCA and CRS classification, and tax documentation services.

The team collaborates closely with Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, KYC, Compliance, and other business partners to maintain regulatory compliance, strengthen data quality, and continuously improve client servicing. By joining CTS, you'll become part of a collaborative team that values innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

We're looking for professionals who enjoy combining analytical thinking, process excellence, and stakeholder collaboration.

You May Be a Strong Fit If You Have

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience in banking operations, process management, business improvement, reporting, transformation, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and KPI or SLA performance monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of workflow management tools such as SharePoint and experience working with reporting and visualization tools such as Excel or Power BI.
• Experience supporting automation initiatives, user acceptance testing, implementation activities, and process enhancement projects.
• Knowledge of process mapping, root-cause analysis, structured problem solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or practical experience applying Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes, simplifying workflows, and delivering measurable business value.
