Job Overview

The Solutions Tester plays a critical role within the Social Direct Solutions Team, ensuring that all bots, tools, and systems are thoroughly tested, optimized, and ready for deployment across multiple teams. This role focuses on identifying errors, validating functionality, and maintaining high-quality performance standards before solutions are released. This role serves as the first line of support for the Social Direct team, managing and troubleshooting bot-related issues, coordinating resolutions, and ensuring smooth operations across platforms. The position requires strong attention to detail, systematic record-keeping, and the ability to navigate multiple platforms and tools in a fast-evolving environment.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Rigorously test bots and internally developed tools to identify bugs, errors, and usability issues before deployment.
  • Validate end-to-end functionality of solutions across different scenarios, languages, and user flows.
  • Document all identified issues clearly and communicate them effectively to stakeholders and teams for resolution.
  • Re-test solutions after fixes to ensure issues are fully resolved and no new errors are introduced.
  • Prepare clear testing instructions and handover documentation for teams to conduct live testing.
  • Act as the first line of support for teams using deployed bots and tools, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Provide training and guidance to market specialists and teams on how to use bots, and all systems created by the Solutions Team effectively across multiple platforms and languages.
  • Manage and oversee platform functionality within Gorgias, including user access, tags, and folder views as language groups expand.
  • Maintain accurate and systematic records of social media platforms, language groups, market specialists, and team structures.
  • Conduct A/B testing on bots to evaluate performance and support continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Navigate and utilize tools such as Chatfuel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and internal systems to support testing, documentation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate within a global organisation across time zones, including occasional out-of-hours availability where required.

This position is not office based. Contractor may be based anywhere in the Philippines.
