Schedule: Monday to Friday (6:00AM - 3:00PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

To establish and uphold the technical foundations that ensure product quality, security, and cost-efficiency, while enabling scalable growth and clear market differentiation. The Technical Lead ensures the tech stack and system design support the product vision and delivers speed to value, resulting in a high-performing platform that meets current needs while remaining adaptable to future demands.

Skills Required

• 9+ years in a senior technical, architectural, or any relevant role
• Demonstrated experience and genuine passion for Azure, DevOps practices, SOLID design principles, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD), with a track record of applying and coaching these practices in real-world systems
• AZ-305 and AZ-400 certified (or willing to obtain)
• Proficient in C#, SQL Server, .NET Core, Entity Framework, Web Services, Web API, MVC and good understanding of the front-end and mobile frameworks used (e.g. Vue, Ionic) sufficient to review architecture and patterns
• Deep expertise in secure development with strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 (AZ-500, SC-200 or willing to obtain)
• Highly skilled in CI/CD, automation and advanced deployment strategies
• Applies strong strategic and design judgement to align technical decisions with customer value, product vision, and long-term platform health—balancing quality, speed, and sustainability using automation, observability, and emerging practices and technology.
• Applies systems thinking and Lean mindset to embed high-quality, standardised practices, optimise flow and drive continuous improvement
• Strong leadership through coaching and mentoring, clarity of expectations, commitment to team development, and promotion of psychological safety and collaboration.
• Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical people, adapting style and fostering active listening and conversational capacity.

• Define and lead the technical strategy and architecture to ensure the platform is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the product vision, while supporting cost-efficiency, security, and long-term evolution
• Establish and champion technical standards and standardised work practices to ensure code quality, security, reliability, documentation, and technical consistency—reducing variation and improving flow
• Lead high-level design and decision-making across software, hardware, cloud infrastructure, and system integrations
• Drive technological innovation by staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring our products remain competitive
• Write code and contribute directly to software development where required in complex, high-impact areas, while also acting as a key technical decision-maker
• Design observable, high-quality systems that surface issues early and enable fast resolution, using techniques such as mistake-proofing, automation, monitoring, and structured problem-solving to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable cohesive, flow-based delivery, leading improvements that accelerate and stabilise the release of new features
• Manage technical debt, guiding platform evolution, including the deprecation of legacy systems with minimal disruption
• Identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities in the product and development tools and define the architecture and expectations for security monitoring
• Ensure security practices are embedded throughout the development lifecycle and that the engineering team complies with security standards
• Support the development of the software development team, through mentorship and a culture of technical excellence and learning.
• Engage with customer and other third-party technical teams to design, agree on, and document technical solutions for implementation.
