Acciona is seeking a Superstructure Site Engineer for our infrastructure project in Metro Manila, responsible for monitoring construction progress, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role involves coordinating site activities, inspecting rebar and concreting works, managing site logistics and productivity, and working closely with the quality team, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

Job Description

The role of the Site Engineer includes:

• Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Inspect works to ensure adherence to quality standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with and supervise subcontractors to ensure proper execution of activities in accordance with approved plans.
• Demonstrate knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and related services.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate site logistics, including deliveries, manpower, and subcontractor activities.
• Monitor productivity and maintain accurate records of site activities and resource utilization.
• Attend site inspections with the quality team and coordinate on a daily basis.
• Interpret and be familiar with rebar works and concreting activities.
• Possess strong communication skills to work effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and the project team.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Must have at least 3–5 years of work experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in superstructure works for building, bridge, or infrastructure projects.
• Solid working knowledge of formwork systems, concreting works, and cast-in-situ deck construction activities
