Service Associate - Tax

• Assist the Tax Manager in reviewing tax return filings prepared by hotel finance teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Verify supporting documentation and reconcile data provided by finance teams against compliance standards.
• Monitor and track submission timelines to ensure timely filing of tax returns.
• Support in tax audit coordination by helping to follow through with finance teams on timely submission of documents to tax consultants and examiners.
• Invoice vouching for tax compliance, summarize findings, and assist in coordinating corrections with the finance teams.
• Monitor new BIR regulations and provide concise summaries to ensure the team remains updated on current tax changes.
• Conduct preliminary research on tax legislation updates and prepare summaries.
• Maintain compliance trackers, review logs, and organized records of filings and audits.
• Provide operational support to strengthen controls and compliance monitoring.
  
  

• Must be a degree holder in Accountancy, preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Familiar with BIR reporting e.g. for VAT, EWT, Corporate Taxation and others.
• With minimum of 1-2 years of experience mainly in tax and accounting.
• Has a good eye for detail and willing to learn, unlearn, and relearn.
• Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language).
• Demonstrate high level of integrity and honesty.
• A self-starter and customer oriented.
• Displays initiative, commitment to professional values.
