Service Associate - Procurement Non-Food Buyer

• Makati Shangri-La, Manila
• Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila
• Edsa Shangri-La, Manila
• Shangri-Las Boracay Resort & Spa
• Shangri-Las Mactan Resort & Spa
  
  

• Interact with fixed assets/property controller, chief stewards and other department heads related to operating equipments and collaterals for Shangri-La properties
• Outsource new suppliers for operating equipment supplies and other non-F&B supplier
• Interact closely with operating equipment and other non-F&B suppliers
• Assist to consolidate inventory items if needed
• Negotiate prices accordingly to generate savings
• Facilitate and monitor shipment delivery dates and other importation documents
• Involve in facilitating CER requests depending on the assigned CER
  
  

• Preferably with atleast 1 year work experience in Procurement/Sourcing from any business industry
• Has experience in dealing with cross functional teams (i.e. Engineering project involvement)
• Is knowledgeable in any Procurement System (i.e. SCM, SAP, etc.)
• Is proficient in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Has good communication and people management skills
• Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
• Has strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
• Able to communicate priorities and drives business results
• Demonstrate high level of integrity and honesty.
• Smart with pleasing personality. Has good negotiation skills.
• A self-starter and customer-oriented.
• Displays initiative, commitment to professional values.
