Senior Web Developer – Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Senior Web Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both frontend and backend development, particularly using Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend, C# and .NET Core for backend services, and databases such as MongoDB and MSSQL. This role involves leading complex development initiatives, shaping technical direction, and mentoring team members.

• Lead the end-to-end development and enhancement of web applications using Next.js and TypeScript for the frontend.
• Implement new features, refine existing code, and ensure applications are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
  
  

• Build APIs and backend services using C# and .NET Core, ensuring security, performance, and quality documentation.
• Develop and maintain microservices architectures when required.
  
  

• Design, manage, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, specifically MSSQL and MongoDB.
• Build complex queries and improve database performance for scalability and reliability.
• Implement robust and flexible data models supporting large-scale systems.
  
  

• Build reusable, responsive UI components using Next.js and modern component-based architecture.
• Ensure applications are fast, intuitive, and cross-browser compatible.
  
  

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide technical leadership.
• Diagnose and solve issues across the full application stack.
  
  

• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality and stability.
• Conduct thorough testing to identify bugs and ensure seamless user experiences.
  
  

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in web development.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to elevate team efficiency.
  
  

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to system architecture, codebase, and database structures.
  
  

• 5+ years of full-stack web development experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with Next.js, TypeScript, C#, and .NET Core.
• Strong background in MongoDB and MSSQL database design, optimization, and management.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
  
  

• Backend: C# and .NET Core for secure, scalable server-side development.
• Frontend: Expertise in Next.js and TypeScript, with strong understanding of component-based architecture.
• Databases: Proficient in MSSQL (relational) and MongoDB (NoSQL).
• Version Control: Strong Git experience.
• Testing: Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks.
• Cloud: Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud services.
