Your Role:

• Drive the design, development, and maintenance of automated tests across various products to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Manage the bug lifecycle by filing detailed reports and collaborating with development and product teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Lead the creation and enhancement of automated test frameworks to improve organizational efficiency and reliability.
• Develop robust internal testing tools to increase the productivity and technical capabilities of the QA team.
• Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) to integrate quality assurance into the deployment pipeline for stable software releases.
• Partner with development engineers to champion unit testing efforts and provide guidance on test script development.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on best practices in test architecture and quality engineering.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Demonstrated success and hands-on experience in delivering complex test automation solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python for writing tests using common testing frameworks.
• Experience testing Web Applications with automated tools such as Selenium or Puppeteer.
• Proven experience with executing and building performance/load tests.
• Understanding of databases and the ability to form SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience with source code control systems such as GIT or Subversion.
• Ability to communicate clearly regarding status, bug reports, and test plans.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience with integrating and testing REST / GraphQL APIs and using Postman.
• Significant experience with White Box testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems (SSH, command line usage, shell scripting).
• Experience with Cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCE, EC2, S3, etc.).
• Familiarity with Visual Regression Testing and backend service testing.
• Knowledge of Windows/macOS Security (SSH keyfiles, SSL Certificates) and Data networking (TCP/IP).
• Experience or familiarity with the usage of AI/LLMs in quality assurance or testing.
