Senior Software Engineer Programmer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of cloud-based systems and micro frontend (µFE) applications that power our global laboratory network. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with international teams, and integrate cloud, microservices, big data, and AI into a seamless digital ecosystem.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining cloud-based systems and µFE applications including business logic for the global laboratory network.
• You team-up closely with global cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions and µFE applications including business logic with existing systems and applications.
• You ensure high availability, scalability and security of cloud-based and µFE laboratory systems.
• You develop and maintain technical documentation of cloud-based and µFE infrastructure.
• You resolve and troubleshoot cloud-related, µFE and business logic issues, including performance and cost optimization.
• You provide trainings and support to internal teams on cloud-based and µFE systems.
• You implement cloud and µFE security and compliance policies and procedures.
• You are integrating the cloud and µFE ecosystem with a micro-service architecture, big data and AI.
• You are guiding an agile team towards high-performance results and report to senior management.
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• An outstanding bachelors/masters degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing and µFE concepts (e.g. containerization & DevOps).
• Previous work experience with .NET, Openshift, Angular and REST-API.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, responsive web design and accessibility principles.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, SQL and Angular.
• High analytical skills and keen perception to approach new challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with global cross-functional teams and report to senior management.
• Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
