What We Do
The Finance Business Unit provides consulting and implementation services that focus on digital transformation and innovative processes to improve the finance and accounting function for international insurance and banking companies. We are SAP’s preferred solution integrator and offer functional and technical expertise, project methodologies, accelerators and templates, system training, and ongoing maintenance support.
Our Finance team covers all areas of implementation, data integration, and reporting. As one of the largest Finance teams in the world, we employ consultants, data scientists, software engineers, and industry experts.
What You Will Do
Implement and optimize existing solutions
Be able to properly transform functional requirements into a technical implementation
Responsible for requirement gathering, technical design, coding, unit testing, technical documentation, and walkthrough
Ensure software developed follows SAP best practices including code/design review processes
Provide proper Root Cause Analysis on issues raised by clients
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development - OOP in ABAP Experience is a must
Experience in Insurance domain is an advantage
Experience in ABAP FI (AR, AP, GL and AA) and CO (CCA and PFA) development
Experience in BAPI and API (REST, SOAP and OData) development and troubleshooting
Knowledgeable in
SAP BTP
ABAP Data Dictionary Objects
RICEFW (Reports, Interface, Conversions, Exit, Forms and Workflow)
Sapscripts and Smart forms
User exits, customer exits and search exits
Ability to do provide fixes, performance analysis and prerequisites
Ability to understand the functional requirements directly from Users/Clients and translate them to technical specifications
Flexible for both domestic and international short term / long term assignment
Flexible in shift schedules and willing to work on unplanned days
Fluent in English
Nice to Have:
Experience in S/4HANA
Knowledgeable in SAP for Insurance and Reinsurance modules like FS-PM, FS-CM, FS-ICM, FS-CD and FS-RI is a significant plus
SAP Certification is an added advantage
Knowledgeable in SAP Conversion programs like BDCs, LSMW, external data transfer (KCLJ), etc.
Knowledge on BDT (Business Data Tool set) and BRF (Business Rules framework)
