Identifying and developing business opportunities for Protection & Automation (PA), SCADA / Digital Substation, and Medium Voltage (MV) Primary & Secondary Distribution solutions.
Managing the full sales cycle from opportunity identification and customer engagement to technical scoping, tender support, negotiation, and order closing.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with consultants, EPCs, utilities, industrial, CPG, and other key customer segments.
Conducting customer visits, technical discussions, and solution presentations to influence specifications and position competitive offerings.
Interpreting customer requirements, SLDs, protection philosophies, and MV system layouts to ensure compliant and optimized solutions.
Collaborating with Tendering and Engineering teams to develop competitive proposals and providing complete sales handovers (scope, BOM, pricing strategy, competitor insights).
Supporting tender clarifications, bid evaluations, technical negotiations, and managing sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and pricing movements to drive strategic account growth.
Your defining qualities:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of experience in PA, SCADA, MV switchgear, or technical sales within electrification and automation environments.
Strong understanding of MV distribution systems, protection schemes, and automation architectures.
Ability to interpret SLDs, wiring diagrams, GA drawings, and system architectures.
Strong technical selling capability with negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
Customer-focused, results-oriented, and able to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred); AutoCAD/Visio viewing capability is an advantage.
