Job Summary

Project center ASEAN is looking for candidates as Senior Pre-projects Engineer focusing Processing Business based in Manila-The Philippines, reporting to Team Lead Pre Projects. The job is mainly to develop concept design based on customer requirements working closely with Market Sales team to discuss with customer and further creating final design solutions with the preparation of project costing. Need to work with cross functions extensively like Business Stream, supply management etc..with challenging timeline to deliver everything with high quality output.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Pre-Projects Engineer, you will:

• Lead a team of assigned members across different functions for each preproject to maintain schedule and deliverables as agreed
• Work closely with Market Sales both from Philippines and other markets in ASEAN as needed
• Work collaboratively with peers located in ASEAN and other supporting organizations at global or other regions
• Create Process Design solutions from customer requirements
• Able to conduct and lead design reviews
• Plan and support Project Risk Assessment sessions along with Project Managers.
• Able to develop frame works for Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calulation
• Report and escalate shortfalls or any other deviations, issues on time to Manager -Preprojects
• Able to review and benchmark comparison of quotations from suppliers and automation & electrical team
• Attend customer meetings to present solution and ‘feature-benefit’
• Detailed calculation of total project costing with supporting documents
• Able to handle multiple projects at the same time
• Support developing junior engineers and peers to build capable team together
• Design and Cost meeting customer requirements and competitiveness aligned with sales strategy
• Meeting timeline of quotations
• Quotation deliverables are in order duly complied
• Must comply to documentation quality standards with following file management system in place
• Manage conflicts with internal team when arises and finding right solution to move forward faster agreed with everyone.
• Managing customer and sales team expectations as agreed from the start
• Manage scope changes and relevant impact within the quotation works.
  
  

We believe you have

• Bachelor or master’s degree in food technology/ Science / Chemical / Mechanical engineering or similar
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Food processing engineering field
• Some years of experience in Food Manufacturing companies are added value
• Sound knowledge over Food Safety and hygienic design related are must
• Experience in quotation works is added advantage
• High command in English both speaking and writing is preferred to work with foreign colleagues as day-to-day activities
• Being dynamic in handling uncertain situations and shifting focus appropriately to accomplish the tasks is important
• Taking ownership and consistency in performance are vital behaviors
• Constantly learning and unlearning things to cope with our fast changing world
