Senior Network Engineer AU MSP Hybrid

Schedule: Monday - Friday (07:00 AM - 04:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years working with Fortinet
• Security Expertise: Hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewall technology.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE (Network Security Expert) and CCNA (Desirable)
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and wireless networking.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
• Familiarity with cloud-based security solutions and email security platforms.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability: Willingness to provide after-hours support as part of an on-call rotation.
• Location: Based in Manila, Philippines, or willing to relocate, with the ability to work in a hybrid model (in-office and remote).
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  
  

What will you do?

• Network Maintenance and Support: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide after-hours support to ensure minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
• Firewall Maintenance and Support: Monitor Firewall performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide after-hours support to ensure minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
• Security Integration: Implement and manage security solutions, including Netskope and Abnormal Email Security, to protect the organizations network and data.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct regular assessments to enhance network performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and incidents; provide regular reports to management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Manila-based IT team and other global teams to support company-wide IT initiatives and ensure seamless operations.
• Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all network and security configurations adhere to industry standards and organizational policies.
  
  

Incident Response: Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network and security incidents, including after-hours escalations.
