Senior Electrical Estimator - AU AU Construction WFH

Schedule: Monday to Friday (06:00 AM-03:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required

• 3+ years of relevant AU estimating experience
• Experience with Simpro Job Management System and/or Ground Plan Take-off software
• Background in the electrical trade — either hands-on field experience or engineering experience with an Australian company
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards and practices (Essential)
• Electrical engineering experience
  
  

• Review and analyse project drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Set up projects using existing templates and prebuilds in our job management and take-off systems
• Perform take-offs, calculate material quantities, and estimate labour costs based on project scope
• Issue pricing requests to suppliers and subcontractors for lighting packages, switchboards, and specialty trades (CCTV, security, solar, etc.)
• Prepare and submit tender proposals for review
• Identify risks and opportunities within projects and suggest value engineering improvements where applicable
• Maintain and update estimating databases to ensure accurate cost information
• Keep up-to-date with Australian standards and industry methodologies
• Support the project delivery team during construction to ensure estimates align with actual project costs.
