What will you do?

As a Senior Roads Designer, you will transform engineering concepts into constructible designs that shape the future of transport infrastructure. You will play a vital role in developing high-quality design models, drawings, and documentation that support the safe and efficient delivery of roads and highways projects.

You’ll Be Part Of a Collaborative And Multidisciplinary Team Working On Some Of Australia’s Most Significant Transport Infrastructure Projects, Reimagining How Roads Can Shape a More Sustainable And Connected World. You Are Also Expected To

• Develop and produce detailed road and civil design models to produce drawings using 12d Model.
• Interpret design standards and translate engineering input into 3D models and provide outputs for plan production.
• Collaborate with engineers and drafters to ensure accuracy, constructability, and integration of design elements.
• Assist with digital design processes and participate in design reviews.
• Apply quality assurance and Aurecon design protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply Austroads guidelines and state based supplements to Austroads, to produce accurate and detailed road designs that will range from concept designs all the way through to construction stages.

Essential

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or any relevant courses.
• Competence in 12d (essential)
• Demonstrated Australian design experience, including application of Austroads Design Guidelines.
• Circa 7-10+ years design experience
• Demonstrated experience working with a multi-disciplinary team
