What are we looking for?

Skills Required

• Minimum of 3-5+ Years of Audit Experience - Solid background in external audit, including planning, testing, documentation, and reporting across various industries.
• Blockchain and Digital Assets Knowledge - Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency ecosystems, DeFi, NFTs, and token-based financial models.
• Technical Accounting Skills - Ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards related to digital assets, including crypto valuation, revenue recognition, and token issuances.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Ability - Skilled in identifying financial anomalies, reconciling crypto-related transactions, and performing technical research.
• People Management and Leadership - Proven experience supervising teams, mentoring associates, and ensuring high-quality work delivery across audit engagements.
• Audit and Assurance Expertise - Strong command of risk assessments, control testing, and professional standards to ensure audit compliance and accuracy.
• Communication and Reporting Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication for drafting audit reports and presenting findings to clients and leadership.
• Regulatory and Compliance Awareness - Familiarity with U.S. GAAP, SEC, IRS, and FASB guidance on digital assets and evolving regulatory frameworks.
  
  

What will you do?

• Lead and manage audit engagements focused on blockchain and digital asset clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of assurance and advisory services.
• Supervise and mentor audit associates, providing guidance, feedback, and technical support throughout engagement cycles.
• Collaborate with partners and blockchain practice leaders to execute audit strategies and maintain alignment with firm standards.
• Perform and review complex audit procedures, including audit planning, risk assessments, and testing of internal controls.
• Research and apply advanced accounting and auditing concepts, particularly those related to digital assets, tokenization, and DeFi transactions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Draft and review financial statements and audit reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to professional and regulatory standards.
• Support team development and knowledge sharing, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting continuous learning in blockchain assurance and emerging technologies.
