We are seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Salesforce Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in maintaining, configuring and optimizing our Salesforce platform. This is a hands-on role where you will work with the business users and product and development teams to transform business requirements into robust, secure and scalable, best-practice Salesforce solutions.
Skills Required
Experience: 2+ years hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator
Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) is required.
Salesforce Administration Fundamentals: Proven experience in administering a Salesforce org with Sales and Service Cloud, including user setup, security settings (profiles, permission sets, roles), and data management.
User Provisioning: Expertise in creating, deactivating, and managing user accounts, including password resets and troubleshooting login issues.
Data Management: Proficiency in data import and export using tools like Data Loader and familiarity with data cleansing and deduplication best practices.
Reporting & Analytics: Comprehensive understanding of native reports and dashboards functionality and ability to support users in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards to provide key business metrics and insights and workload tracking.
Declarative Development: Strong command of Salesforces "clicks not code" tools. You must be skilled in creating and managing custom fields, objects, validation rules, and implementing business logic using Flow.
Integration Experience: Experience working with Salesforce integrations with other systems and managing user access for third-party applications and add-ons.
Release Management: Stay up-to-date with Salesforce release features, manage sandbox environments, and support implementation of new functionalities, upgrades, and integrations.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively diagnose and resolve user issues and platform-related problems, including triage and investigation of support tickets to resolution or product review.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear instructions, support users, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Engagement with teams across the business to align priorities and timeframes for core tasks.
Change Management: Experience in the deployment of new features and changes using sandboxes and Salesforce CLI.
Aspiration to Enhance Development Skills: While not expected to be a master, a strong conceptual understanding of Apex is highly valued. You should be able to read and understand existing code and assist developers with basic debugging tasks.
Additional Salesforce products: Experience Cloud and Community user management.
What will you do?
System Administration & Maintenance: Oversee all aspects of user and license management, including setup, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings.
Customisation & Configuration: Design, build, and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, and flows to support business processes.
User Support & Training: Act as the first point of contact for Salesforce support requests, troubleshoot and triage issues, and provide ongoing training and documentation for all end-users.
Data Integrity & Management: Perform regular data quality checks, data cleaning, and maintenance using tools like Data Loader to ensure accuracy and a single source of truth.
Reporting & Analytics: Create, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards to provide key business metrics and insights for stakeholders to facilitate business oversight.
Collaboration & Optimisation: Support the product and development team in partnering with stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and recommend and implement improvements that drive efficiency and user adoption.
Release Management: Stay up-to-date with Salesforce release features, manage sandbox environments, and implement new functionalities, upgrades, and integrations.
