We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Recruiter to join our team. As a full-time employee, your primary focus will be to recruit and place 1099 independent contractors for a variety of client projects across multiple industries. You will work closely with our clients to understand their workforce needs and source, screen, and place 1099 talent. Responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for all positions throughout the company.
Position Responsibilities
Work closely with internal teams and external clients to understand their staffing needs for independent contractors.
Utilize various recruiting platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, networks, etc.) to find qualified 1099 talent.
Assess candidates qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for the role.
Guide 1099 contractors through the hiring process, from offer to contract execution, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
Maintain regular communication with 1099 talent, ensuring they’re satisfied with their assignments and addressing any issues that arise.
Ensure that 1099 contractors understand and comply with all tax, legal, and compliance requirements associated with independent contractor work.
Stay informed about industry trends and compensation benchmarks for 1099 talent across different sectors.
Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree (Desired)
Minimum of 2 years of High-Volume Recruiting
Previous Contractor (1099) Recruiting experience
Previous recruiting through third party agencies experience preferred
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in English
Exceptional customer service, telephone manner, and multitasking skills are a must
Strong organizational skills, sense of urgency, and attention to detail are essential
Experience in a call center environment preferred
Proficient in MS Office products: Word, Power Point, Excel
Proficient in Workday Recruiting
Strong experience with candidate sourcing using internet tools such as LinkedIn, job boards, social media and search engines
