Job Description

The roles of the position would include, but are not limited to:

Fleet Portal

• Sorts through the customer asset list and extracts details/data needed for fleet list creation.
• Mapping of parts based on details/data extracted.
• Uploading of fleet list
• Updating/maintenance of assets in the fleet portal.
• Extract usable data from the fleet portal. CRITICAL SPARES LISTS
• Generating a list of assets and parts from customer data in the fleet portal.
• Tallies Parts per major component category.
• Tallies Models per 3 categories. AUTO, TRUCK, & HDAG.
• Narrowing parts choices per model (Removing duplicates of major A/C components)
  
  

Sevice Kits

• Listing of parts from OE catalogs (position, quantity, price, description)
• Create new PNs for OE-only parts.
• Purchase orders for the parts included in the service kits.
• BOM creation
  
  

Parts Inquiries

• Crossing_parts based on pics/PNs/measurements/markings.
• Alternative parts suggestions
  
  

Part Number Creation/Modification

• Creates new PNs based on supplier/OEs
• Modifying/Updating existing BOMs
• Auditing of Alternate PNs
  
  

Machine Listings

• Updating/creating of HDAG and AUTO listings
• Updating of TRUCK listings at Autolnfo.
  
  

GAS Guide

• Uploading of new gas charges per machine model
  
  

Excel Support

• Guiding/Helping with Excel Formulas and Formula syntax.
• Mass data matching using FnO, Netstock, & Magenta databases.
  
  

Requirments

Essential

• 2-3+ years’ experience in a product specialist role (for any of the above brands or other like brands
• Knowledge of manufacturing or construction products and skills with understanding product parts (serial numbers) and the build of an air conditioning unit based on several product parts (serial numbers)
  
  

Should have product listing/parts specialist skills across any of the following products/brands:

• Caterpillar
• Komatsu
• Hitachi
• John Deere
• Liebherr
• Experience with data and correct data entry.
• Parts interpreting, finding the correct parts to replace OEM, and supporting the sales team and customers to list the AC parts required for each machine.
• High attention to detail and ability to work fast to cross over part numbers and identify the right part for customers.
• Good English and communication skills.
• Good Excel skills and ability to navigate between the back end of the website and other websites to identify parts as required.
• Experience in heavy-duty mining and earthmoving equipment. preferably CAT, but other brands are ok
