Product Owner - PaaS - Remote

This investment will scale Vaults SECRET Cloud and introduce new services such as the AUKUS cloud capability, directly addressing Australias strategic national security demands. As the Product Owner for PaaS, you will lead a dynamic cross-functional Scrum team focused on designing, building, and launching secure, scalable cloud platform products. This remote opportunity places you at the crossroads of product vision, technical delivery, and stakeholder engagement, driving PaaS solutions that meet the highest standards of security, performance, and usability to support Australia’s critical infrastructure.

You will be responsible for:

• Drive Product Vision & Strategy: Own the roadmap for our PaaS offerings, ensuring alignment with customer needs, technical direction, and business objectives.
• Work closely with Engineering, Security, and Operations to prioritise features, reduce risk, and deliver platform capabilities that support Vault’s mission.
• Understand internal and external user needs and translate them into clear requirements and user stories.
• Maintain a healthy, prioritised backlog and ensure stories are ready for sprint planning.
• Partner with QA and DevOps to embed quality and performance into every release.
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, identify process gaps, and support a culture of continuous delivery and improvement.

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate with:

• Sound project and product delivery experience, ideally in cloud infrastructure or PaaS environments
• Ability to lead and work effectively in agile environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure infrastructure design
• Influence and lead a technical cross-functional team.
• Experience managing a variety of stakeholders at varying levels
• Analytical mindset, adaptability, and innovative problem-solving.
