Overall Duties And Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Acquisition Growth:
Define the product strategy and roadmap specifically aimed at increasing new card issuance (acquisition) across various channels (in-app, digital, retail and public sector partners).
Own the cards acquisition P&L by optimizing the Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and improving the Card Activation Rate.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify acquisition gaps, high-potential customer segments, and new channels for card distribution.
Work with Marketing and Growth teams to design, implement, and track A/B tests and acquisition campaigns (e.g., targeted digital marketing, co-branded sign-up offers) to optimize conversion and lower CAC.
Work with Card Operations teams to analyze the end-to-end customer onboarding flow and behavioral data to inform product prioritization and remove friction points in the application/issuance process.
Strategic Partnership Management & Value Creation:
Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-impact partners (e.g., banks, major retailers, payment processors, co-brand partners, & public sector partners) to drive card acquisition and enhance the cards value proposition.
Structure and negotiate commercial agreements with partners (e.g., acquisition incentives, revenue shares) ensuring they are financially sound, scalable, and aligned with GCash’s long-term strategy.
Serve as the main product liaison for partners, aligning on strategic roadmaps and key joint initiatives (e.g., feature rollouts, Go-To-Market plans).
Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and internal teams to ensure all partnership-driven acquisition and features meet contractual and regulatory obligations (e.g., KYC, BSP requirements).
Lead the product execution of new partner integrations, working closely with engineering and technical teams.
Cross-functional Execution & Go-to-Market (GTM):
Lead the go-to-market strategy for all new acquisition channels and partner-driven features, collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Customer Support.
Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to partner needs and internal objectives.

Necessary Skill Sets
Product Management Experience: Proven experience (3-5 years) in Product Management, ideally in FinTech, Payments, or Banking, with a focus on customer acquisition and partnership-driven growth.
Acquisition & Digital Marketing Acumen: Strong working knowledge of digital acquisition funnels, conversion rate optimization (CRO), performance marketing metrics (e.g., CPA, LTV, CAC), and data-driven experimentation (A/B testing).
Commercial Negotiation & Partnership Skills: Excellent skills in structuring, negotiating, and maintaining strategic partnerships and commercial agreements.
Data & Analytical Rigor: Exceptional ability to deeply analyze acquisition and partnership performance data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Regulatory Acumen: Deep understanding of the financial regulatory landscape (e.g., BSP, KYC, AML) to ensure compliance in all acquisition processes and partner integrations.
Agile & Prioritization: Proficiency in Agile methodologies and the ability to ruthlessly prioritize features and partner initiatives based on business value and strategic alignment.
Advantageous Skill Sets
Direct experience with digital acquisition for financial products (e.g., credit cards, debit cards, loans).
Experience working in a highly regulated banking or Electronic Money Issuer (EMI) environment.
SQL proficiency for deep data analysis.
Delivers (Specific outputs / tangible results produced by the role; resources responsible for)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) For Success
Acquisition & Growth: Growth in New Card Issuance and Card Activation Rate (i.e., percentage of issued cards that become active).
Profitability: Optimal Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and improvement in the cards Net Margin/Return on Investment (ROI) from acquisition campaigns/partnerships.
Partnership Value: Number of high-value partnerships launched, adoption rate of partner-driven features/offers, and commercial performance against targets (e.g., partner-sourced acquisition volume).
Compliance & Risk: Timely adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance standards for new acquisition channels and partner integrations.
