Piping Designer AU Construction Hybrid

Salary: P70,000 - P100,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (08:00 AM-05:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required

• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering Drafting/Design, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years’ experience delivering concrete detailing on heavy industrial, mining, or mineral processing projects (preferred).
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD Plant 3D (AEC Collection) – 3D modelling and 2D deliverables essential, Navisworks, AutoCAD Advance Steel, BIM/ACC workflows, Bentley OpenPlant, or similar coordination tools are Essential.
• Demonstrated experience in piping design for heavy industrial, mining, or mineral processing projects (preferred).
• Strong understanding of piping layout principles including constructability, maintenance access, drainage/venting, tie-ins, and routing in congested plant environments.
• Ability to work from P&IDs, equipment layouts, vendor data, and engineering markups.
• Comfortable working to deadlines, managing priorities, and at senior level, mentoring junior designers.
• Experience working with virtual or remote teams, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Willing to work in a hybrid arrangement.
  
  

• 3D Piping Design & Modelling
• Develop and maintain 3D piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D (AEC Collection) in line with project and client standards.
• Model piping layouts including routing, tie-ins, equipment/nozzle connections, pipe support interfaces, and coordination with structural, mechanical, and E&I disciplines.
• Incorporate vendor package data (pumps, cyclones, screens, mills, tanks, skids) to ensure constructible routing and access.
• Produce piping GA drawings, isometrics, spool drawings (where applicable), tie-in drawings, plot plans, and orthographic views.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and issue packages in accordance with document management workflows.
• Draft and update PFDs and P&IDs in line with engineering markups and project standards, including line numbering, equipment/valve/instrument tags, stream numbers, and revisions.
• Coordinate interfaces and resolve clashes across disciplines using model review tools.
• Participate in model and drawing reviews, respond to markups, and support internal QA processes.
• Support engineering and site teams by responding to RFIs and design queries.
• Configure and maintain Plant 3D projects, including specs, catalogs, and custom components (as required).
• Support standardisation and continuous improvement of templates, layers, styles, and deliverable settings.
