Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Payroll Specialist to support our Philippines payroll operations end-to-end within a Shared Services environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while delivering an excellent payroll experience.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
What You Will Do
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Philippine employees, including payroll validation, reconciliation, off cycle runs, and final pay.
- Handle timekeeping records, employee deductions, allowances, government-mandated benefits, and payroll adjustments.
- Ensure full compliance with Philippine labor laws, DOLE standards, BIR regulations, and government statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Prepare and submit required statutory reports such as BIR 2316/1601C, Alpha List, SSS R3/R5, PhilHealth RF1, and Pag-IBIG MCRF.
- Maintain accurate payroll data and work closely with HR and Finance on payroll cutoffs, variances, audits, and reconciliations.
- Respond to employee payroll concerns in a professional, clear, and empathetic manner.
- Support process improvement and standardization initiatives within the shared services team.
- Protect payroll confidentiality and ensure compliance with internal controls and data privacy requirements.
- Generate payroll reports and analytics for business insights and decision-making.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2–5 years of experience in Philippine payroll processing.
- Prior exposure to end-to-end manual payroll processing is an advantage.
- Experience in Shared Services, AEC, or multinational environments preferred.
- Working knowledge of Philippine payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with payroll tools such as Workday and Deltek Vision is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
