Position Summary
We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Risk Management team. This role supports risk management
operations, legal research, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft correspondence and assist with legal research.
- Prepare and maintain documents, spreadsheets, databases, calendars, and case management materials.
- Support in-house counsel with drafting discovery and responses.
- Compile and prepare documents for production.
- Communicate with internal departments nationwide.
- Implement and enforce internal procedures.
- Correspond with state agencies, outside counsel, and insurance companies.
- Develop, organize, and maintain risk management documentation.
- Assist with insurance-related documentation and application requests.
- Complete audits of reports and manage Certificates of Insurance.
- Help build a risk management platform, including processes, training videos, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate, five years of industry experience, or two years of AEI on-the-job training.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with online court filing systems and records databases.
