Conveyancing Clerk

  • Comply with all statutory and legal obligations applicable to your position.
  • Demonstrate experience and competency with PEXA, Duties Online, TriConvey (with InfoTrack, SecureExchange).
  • Devote the whole of your time, ability, and attention as is reasonably necessary to fulfil the requirements of your position.
  • Observe and comply with all lawful and reasonable directions or instructions given by or on behalf of the firm.
  • Use your best endeavours to promote the interests and public image of the firm.
  • Provide conveyancing and administrative assistance to staff of the firm.

Some of your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drafting documents including Contracts of Sale, Vendor’s Statements, precedent letters, and statements of adjustments for approval by the Senior Conveyancer.
  • Managing matter critical dates and tasks via TriConvey.
  • Preparing PEXA workspaces, Duties Online forms, and obtaining searches.
  • Coordinating with all parties in PEXA, including client banks and the other side.
  • Direct reporting to the Senior Conveyancer and, if required, the General Manager, including providing feedback relating to recurring issues for continuous improvement.
  • Assisting with the firm’s administration, including invoicing, file management/hygiene, and archiving.
