Job Summary

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the taxi service, ensuring smooth dispatching, driver compliance, and optimal service delivery. This role ensures that the fleet, drivers, and customer service teams work efficiently to meet company goals, provide excellent passenger experience, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily taxi operations, including fleet deployment, dispatch scheduling, and route monitoring.
  • Ensure adequate driver coverage to meet demand, including managing shift schedules and attendance.
  • Monitor vehicle conditions and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs, inspections, and preventive servicing.
  • Track and analyze key operational KPIs such as trip completions, wait times, and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle incident reports, passenger complaints, and driver concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Enforce company policies, local government transport regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular meetings with drivers and staff to relay updates, performance targets, and operational changes.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operations performance to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 24 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or taxi/ride-hailing operations, with 1+ year in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of local transportation regulations, driver compliance requirements, and traffic management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and discipline staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with dispatch software or fleet tracking systems is a plus.
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment (including weekends and holidays as needed).
