What are we looking for?
We are seeking a senior Microsoft Power Automate Specialist to design, build, and maintain automation solutions for our MSP clients. This role is critical to helping small and mid-sized businesses eliminate manual processes, improve operational efficiency, and maximize value from their Microsoft 365 investments. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power Platform and a strong track record of delivering automation across diverse client environments.
Skills Required
5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Platform
Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate (PL-500) or Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) preferred
Strong proficiency in:
Power Automate cloud flows, desktop flows (RPA), and HTTP/REST connectors
Microsoft 365 ecosystem — SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive
Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and Dataverse
API integrations, JSON, and expression language within Power Automate
Experience managing automation solutions across multiple SMB or MSP client accounts
Strong analytical skills to evaluate, document, and re-engineer business processes
Excellent written and verbal communication with client-facing experience
Experience with Azure Logic Apps or Azure Functions as an extension of automation workflows
Familiarity with Power BI for reporting tied to automated data pipelines
Exposure to Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents)
Experience with ticketing and PSA tools common in MSP environments (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask)
Understanding of governance and DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies within Power Platform
Background in process mapping or business analysis
Nice to have:
Client-first mindset with the ability to manage multiple accounts without losing quality
Self-starter who can identify automation opportunities proactively, not just fulfill requests
Able to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders clearly and confidently
Comfortable working in a fast-paced MSP environment with shifting priorities
Detail-oriented with a commitment to clean documentation and maintainable builds
What will you do?
Design and develop automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows, and scheduled flows)
Integrate Power Automate with Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel) and third-party platforms via connectors and APIs
Assess client business processes and translate requirements into scalable automation solutions
Build and manage Power Apps canvas and model-driven apps to complement automation workflows
Support clients in identifying automation opportunities that reduce manual workload and improve accuracy
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing flows across multiple client environments
Collaborate with MSP engineers and client stakeholders to deliver and document solutions
Maintain governance standards for flow ownership, licensing, naming conventions, and environment management
Provide training and documentation to client end-users and internal teams
