We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Metro Manila or Laguna, Philippines.

Job Purpose:

Your tasks:

• Provide legal support for DHL Express, DHL Supply Chain & DHL Global Forwarding in the Philippines and assists in mitigating legal risks and protect DHL Group’ s legal and business interests in line with business needs, established legal framework, standards, applicable laws and regulations
  
  
  

Your profile:

• Provides general legal advice, including contract (customer and vendor) support to businesses served.
• Advises members of the business on legal and related risks associated with DPDHLs operations in area of responsibility.
• Analyse and interpret case law, court reports, and proposed and existing laws and regulations to prepare technical reports on how they impact the organisation’s operations.
• Prepare legal contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters (e.g., loans, leases, purchase agreements, acquisitions, divestitures, employment contracts) to protect the organisations legal and business interests.
• Advises business on legal trends and developing areas of law.
• Works with supervisor to manage internal and external legal spend in area of responsibility.
• Works as member of a team defending the organizations legal interests in litigation and claims in own area of responsibility which may include external legal spend
• Management of external counsel or litigation management
• Member of team responsible for assuring organizations legal interests are best represented and protected in customer, vendor and third party contracts; active participant in negotiating such contracts in area of responsibility.
  
  
  

Your profile:

Education and Experience Level:

• University law degree or Professional law qualifications
• At least 3 years of legal practice, preferably in an in-house setting or corporate practice in a law firm
• Developing legal analytical skills
• Ability to apply legal knowledge and expertise in business environment
• English language knowledge requirement
• Knowledgeable in or highly adaptable to utilizing new technologies, digital platforms, and productivity tools
