Legal and Compliance Officer

Kredivo Philippines is looking for a proactive, commercially minded Legal & Compliance professional with strong experience in

fintech laws and regulations, labor and employment law, HR advisory, and regulatory compliance . You will report to the Head of Legal and Compliance and coordinate closely with HR and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Compliance

Manage regulatory filings, licenses, and compliance requirements with relevant authorities.

Monitor regulatory developments and support audits, examinations, and remediation across fintech, data privacy, AML, and consumer protection.

Legal & Corporate

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor agreements, partnerships, and NDAs.

Provide practical legal advice and maintain key corporate and regulatory records.

Advise HR on employment matters, including contracts, policies, performance, discipline, investigations, and separation.

Provide guidance on termination, redundancy, and retrenchment, ensuring proper due process and documentation.

Draft key employment documents and support labor disputes before DOLE, NLRC, and NCMB.

Qualifications

2+ years of relevant legal, compliance, or in-house experience.

JD/LLB or equivalent legal qualification. Philippine Bar membership is a strong plus.

Fintech, Lending, Banking, Or Financial Services Experience Preferred.

Strong hands‑on experience in labor and employment law and HR advisory.

Good knowledge of DOLE/NLRC processes and employment due process requirements.

Experience in investigations, terminations, labor disputes, contracts, and regulatory compliance.

Data privacy, AML, consumer finance, or DPO exposure is a plus.

Strong communication, judgment, ownership, and ability to work independently.
