What You Will Be Doing

• Creating precision Academic Data Reports and performing structured analysis to identify challenges, detect outliers, and initiate corrective actions within 48 hours
• Delivering urgent intervention calls and facilitating post-evaluation coaching to eliminate obstacles, distinguish true gaps from simple mistakes, and sustain learner engagement
• Assessing and deploying new learning applications and materials while prototyping AI/LLM solutions to advance instructional methods and address targeted problems
• Collaborating with leadership to enhance platforms, visualization tools, and proficiency benchmarks as our AI tutor advances

• Attending marathon meetings or producing generic presentations disconnected from measurable results
• Grading assignments, drafting lesson plans, or administering conventional educational programs—AI and innovation are our foundation

Learning Designer Key Responsibilities

Advance student learning outcomes via AI-powered analysis and immediate academic intelligence, evidenced by improved indicators such as 2× learning velocity, application interaction, lesson mastery, answer precision, and diminished negative learning behaviors throughout the Alpha Anywhere community.

Basic Requirements

• Proven experience in data science or comparable position, education, EdTech, or a learner-support capacity with analytical and relational dimensions
• Competence in Google Sheets data manipulation (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
• Strong emotional intelligence, effective communication abilities and a student-centered coaching approach
• Track record creating workflows and automations using AI
• Minimum 1 year experience engaging directly with K-8 students
• Availability during mandatory core hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.

• Foundation in learning science, pedagogical theory, or verified achievement enhancing outcomes through data-informed approaches

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
