The Junior Credit Risk Analyst will assist in managing the credit risk for our company by analyzing financial data, preparing risk assessments, and supporting the development of credit risk management strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of relevant experience who is eager to grow and develop in the field of credit risk management.
We Will Trust You To
Analyze the financial statements of current and prospective clients to assess creditworthiness.
Support the preparation of credit risk reports and risk grading for individual clients.
Assist in monitoring and reporting on credit risk exposure across the companys portfolio.
Assist in evaluating the credit risk of new and existing counterparties using financial ratios and industry benchmarks.
Compile and review financial data to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks.
Help in maintaining and updating the credit risk database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the regular review of the companys credit portfolio and recommend adjustments where necessary.
Assist in preparing reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and external regulatory requirements.
Participate in audits and contribute to the preparation of audit documentation.
Work closely with other departments, including finance, sales, and legal, to gather necessary information for credit assessments.
Provide support to the Senior Credit Risk Accountant and Credit Risk Manager in special projects and ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements
Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial analysis software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
Availability to work mid-shift in Philippines (2pm - 11pm local time)
