Australia Awards Philippines
Australia Awards Philippines (AAP) supports the Philippines to achieve its development goals and build enduring relationships with Australia through long-term scholarships, short courses, fellowships and other forms of training for current and emerging leaders and influencers, alongside strategic engagement with alumni.
The AAP program works to strengthen leadership, skills and institutional capacity while supporting Australia’s development priorities and partnerships in the Philippines. The program places strong emphasis on inclusive practice, knowledge sharing, evidence-based decision-making and quality program delivery.
The role
The IT and Data Analytics Officer will play a key role in supporting the secure and efficient operation of AAP’s ICT systems, website, database portals, data analytics and knowledge management systems. Reporting to the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Manager, the role will support the program’s internal business processes, alumni systems, online portals, and reporting requirements through strong technical expertise and practical problem-solving

Key Responsibilities
Tetra Tech International Development is seeking a dynamic and experienced
IT and Data Analytics Officer to support the Australia Awards Philippines program through ICT, website and database management, data analytics, and knowledge management.
- Manage and maintain ICT systems, equipment, software and network connectivity.
- Support staff with SharePoint, Office 365 and other digital tools.
- Maintain and update the AAP website and ensure cybersecurity compliance.
- Develop, manage and improve AAP database portals and online forms.
- Support the transfer and integration of alumni and program data into new systems.
- Develop dashboards, visualisations and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Support survey management, REAP monitoring, progress reporting and learning products.
- Maintain knowledge management systems, including file storage and retrieval.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting and user assistance as required.
Selection criteria
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field and/or extensive experience in IT, networking, web development, database management or data analytics.
- Demonstrated experience in website management, database management, knowledge management, data analytics and IT support.
- Experience transferring and integrating data into new database portals.
- Experience managing IT systems and resolving technical issues.
- Experience implementing knowledge management systems and processes.
- Knowledge of the Philippines context and engagement with relevant stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong skills in web and database portal management.
- Working knowledge of data analytics and advanced MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and data protection practices.
- Ability to keep up to date with evolving IT systems and tools.
