Establish and govern the organization’s emergency response policies, frameworks, and command activation processes. Ensure the company is prepared for network incidents, disasters, and crises through structured readiness, cross-functional coordination, and regulatory compliance.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enforce the Emergency Response Governance Framework for network-impacting events.
  • Define incident classification levels, escalation pathways, and RCMT activation criteria.
  • Lead the structured activation and management of the RCMT.
  • Ensure accurate and timely SITREPs, dashboards, and executive communications during incidents.
  • Align cross-domain activities across Core, Transport, Access, Power, IT, and Field Operations.
  • Oversee readiness, maintenance, and compliance of response playbooks and command structures.
  • Facilitate command drills, tabletop exercises, and emergency simulations.
  • Ensure proper handover to Network Recovery & Normalization post-incident.
  • Advise NRRO Department Head and LT/ELT on incident status, risks, and mitigation measures.

Hiring Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Risk Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years in network operations, disaster recovery, emergency response governance, or crisis management.
  • Knowledge of telecom networks, RAN operations, ICS frameworks, and DR/BCP standards.
  • Proven policy governance, cross-functional coordination, and crisis decision-making skills.
  • Certifications in ISO 22301/22320, ICS, or Emergency Management are advantageous.
