General Ledger Accountant

Our DDC Support - Finance team is looking for a highly skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who values accuracy, analytical thinking, and financial excellence.

What youll do

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and review journal entries with proper documentation.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end close activities, including accruals, reclassifications, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare internal financial reports, variance analyses, and insights for decision‑making.
• Lead annual external audits, including schedules, walkthroughs, and testing.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including data submission to BPC.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure accurate reporting of IFRS 16 leases.

What were looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Licensed CPA
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting and handling external audits
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in SAP, BPC, or Blackline (preferred)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong financial planning and analysis (FP&A) capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic financial modelling
