As a Fund Accounting Associate within the Securities Services Operations team, you are responsible for timely and accurate delivery of NAV for Clients who have outsourced their Fund Accounting to JPM. This role involves understanding and executing end to end activities that comprises of daily NAV calculation and end-of-day Client reporting.

You will be responsible for managing a team of accountants for the purpose of delivering accurate and timely fund accounting services, including net asset value calculations for various clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely production of daily and monthly fund accounting activities and NAV calculations for clients.
• Review financial statements prior to production and ensure timely, accurate sign-offs from all valuation process participants.
• Establish policies, procedures, and guidelines that comply with internal and external controls, continuously strengthening the control environment.
• Develop and implement efficient, standardized workflows within the team and at hand-off points.
• Motivate, develop, and support staff by training and effectively managing the team.
• Understand training needs and solutions, implementing them to maintain team skill sets and mobility.
• Manage relationships with clients and JPM partner locations through service delivery and a proactive approach to client requirements.ts
  
  

Required Qualifications, Skills, And Capabilities

• 7+ years of mutual funds industry experience with a minimum of three years in fund accounting
• Securities industry knowledge including dividends, principal & interest, corporate actions and trading activity
• Knowledge of account reconciliation processes
• Strong analytical, prioritization, organizational, multi tasking and negotiation skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, And Capabilities

• Chartered Accountant/MBA/Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Fund accounting knowledge
• GAAP accounting knowledge
• Knowledge of industry developments and trends
