Your next career opportunity

You will provide high-level executive support to the Co-Chairs of the groundbreaking Australian Stroke Alliance. You will help coordinate national research activity that advances portable brain imaging and faster treatment for stroke patients.

What you will deliver:

  • Provide comprehensive diary, email and travel management to optimise the Co-Chairs’ time and priorities.
  • Coordinate ASA Board and committee governance, including agendas, minutes, papers, action tracking and follow-up communication.
  • Prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, briefings and presentation materials with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Liaise with senior hospital, university and external stakeholders to progress collaborative research projects and funding applications.
  • Support research administration including publication records, research reporting, seminar coordination and other activities underpinning ASA strategies.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or bring equivalent experience in senior executive support roles.
  • Offer substantial experience providing high-level secretarial and administrative support to senior leaders in complex organisations.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to draft precise correspondence and reports.
  • Exhibit advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, video-conferencing platforms, AV systems and database or research management systems.
  • Manage competing deadlines calmly, exercising sound judgement, discretion and initiative while supporting multiple concurrent projects.
  • Value collaboration and enjoy working within a small professional team embedded in a hospital–university research environment.
